Our Team
CBSM was incorporated in South Australia in 2018 by founding shareholders to commercialise the Gyratory Rolls Crusher (GRolls®). The major shareholders of CBSM are Stoney Pinch Sands (held by John Crosby, John Chappel and Alan Mattner), Mark Drechsler and Professor William Skinner.
Mark Drechsler Eng Exec CompIEAust is a founder of CBSM, has a passion for ‘green’ concrete technology and has worked since 2014 seeking energy efficient comminution technology for sustainable ‘green’ products in the construction industry. Mark is also an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Adelaide.
Professor William Skinner FAusIMM joined CBSM in 2020 and has over 30 years experience in scientific research into mineral processing. Bill is Research Professor at the University of South Australia Future Industries Institute and will provide linkage between academic research and commercial development of the GRolls® technology.
John Crosby AM
John is chairman of four companies, including Peninsula Ports and Stoney Pinch Sands. Extensive involvement with start up companies and listing companies including Elders Ltd. Formerly senior vice president of the National Farmers federation and president of the Agribusiness Association of Australia
Stoney Pinch Sands is a Sponsor of the GRolls® technology and are seeking dry comminution solutions for their agricultural and industrial products produced from their high quality limestone and silica sand deposits in Renmark, South Australia.
Gyratory Roller Solutions Pty Ltd
In 2023 CBSM partnered with Innovyz another passionate South Australian company and we formed a company Gyratory Roller Solutions Pty Ltd dedicated to commercialising our GRolls® comminution technology.
